Routing

Environment

IPv6 only network is ready in our environment. *BSD users are living and working on the network everyday. Windows users are not yet. There are 3 translators, faithd, TTB, NAT-PT. Mainly we are using faithd. Others are for testing. We can use PRINTER, HTTP, SMTP, POP, WHOIS, FTP and SSH to connect to IPv4 global network, also YDC internal network. Our HTTP server, SMTP server and NAME server can accept IPv6 connection. We are planning to dedicate dial-up server to our network.

We have had 2 gateway connected 6bone. They have 2 individual prefixes. They are announcing both prefixes and routing information respectively to the IPv6 only network.

Our DNS server is bind9 and speaks IPv6. We are going to experiment DNS extensions, A6, DNSsec and so on.
